We are living in a time of major change, and if anything, that change is accelerating.

Today the basic forces of human endeavour - business, communications, culture, demography, economics, law, politics, science, technology amongst others, are all recalibrating at once, shaping a different world before our eyes.

These changes are both evolutionary and dynamic. The forces at work today are moving us into a networked world, where sustainability in business requires new ways of thinking about systems and communities in near real time. It is not about maintaining the status quo or pushing specific agendas. Rather it is about being able to understand change, influence its direction and knowing when and how to respond. In essence, it is about making sense of issues and complex problems today so as to act to make the right decisions.
